Eyre Family Halloween Party

Most everyone dressed up this year for the party. Unfortunately, my better half had a business meeting in Idaho, so I didn't join in the fun without him. Here are just a few of the cute costumes.

Our little Lion and Dorothy

We're so proud of how well they share!

This is what too much sugar will do to you. They had a ball!!!

Family Home Evening

My good friend, Jennie, posted this yummy treat on her blog and we tried it out last night for FHE. Cake in a mug.....what a fun idea! So, here is the recipe so you all can try it out too. Thanks Jen!

4 TBS. FLOUR
4 TBS. SUGAR
2 TBS. COCOA
1 EGG
3 TBS MILK
3 TBS. OIL
3 TBS. CHOCOLATE CHIPS
SPLASH OF VANILLA

Mix all together and put in a microwave safe mug. Cook for 3 min. and presto, cake in a mug. See for yourself how the treats were enjoyed.

After our lesson and treat, it was off to take baths to clean up. We (I) always try to wind the kids down and get ready for bed, but Aaron is just TOO much fun and the kids are always pretty wired when he's home to help me. Here are just a few pictures of them laughing at the funny faces daddy was making before bedtime.

Cornbelly's Corn Maze

So, everything is SO much more fun with kids. We had such a blast last Friday taking the kids to this fun place. It was a perfect night for such fun. The weather was perfect. They had rides, slides, yummy food, performances, story time, and more. I guess we found another tradition to begin.

You have to click on this picture to see Hannah's face upclose. Hilarious!

We took Hannah & Nathan into this giant lizard. They said it wasn't too scary. Well, it was for them. Are we terrible parents that we found it funny? They didn't have anything jumping out, but there were scary noises and it was dark. Actually, Hannah did pretty well. Nathan was not well pleased. (click on the picture to get a closer look at the kids faces).

There was this house full of corn for the kids to play in. They absolutely loved it. I actually had fun in it too.

Crabapple Jelly

It was a rare treat to have our Dad come out to Eagle Mountain and help make crabapple jelly. Years ago he and mom made this jelly as Christmas gifts and it was a huge hit. There are lots of crabapple trees around here so Nikki, my sister, wanted to do the same for Christmas this year and dad agreed to come out and help. We think it's pretty neat that our dad knows how to do this for one, and would take his time to spend with his daughters. It was such a great day!

I had to throw this picture in of Hannah. She's such a cutie!

Raspberry Patch

I had no idea picking raspberries could be so fun. Part of the fun was the drive out there. It was absolutely beautiful!!! The kids had a ball, as you can see, and we made lots of raspberry jam to eat. Yummy! This is just one of the reasons why I love being a stay at home mom. A day like this was worth so much to me.

He's Walking!!!!!!

5 days before he was 16 months, Nathan finally decided it was time to walk. Now, he's all over the place. Hooray for you Nathan. We are so proud!

The Greatest Show on Earth

We took Hannah and Nathan to the Circus last week. Wow! Did they love it!!!! I wish I had been able to catch some of their expressions better. They were hilarious! Hannah was so excited she kept covering her mouth because she was so happy. We had a great time.
