Hannah & Nathan have been tagged

I'm sorry to those who've "tagged" me. I'm not good at keeping this going since I've been tagged and never seem to do it. Anyway, better late than never.

Hannah likes:
Macaroni & Cheese
Cookies & Gum
Pete's Dragon (she's obsessed with it actually)
Her blankie
Playing outside
Brocolli
Nursery at church

Hannah doesn't like:
Lions
Her teeth brushed
To be by herself
When kids pull her hair

Nathan likes:
Any kind of food
To be held and played with
His mommy a whole bunch
Things in his mouth
Nap time
His bath

Nathan doesn't like:
To be on his tummy
um...yea, that's about it for him

I've been tagged

I've Been Tagged!

10 years ago: 10 years ago I was at Ricks college having the time of my life! I was living in the dorms, making friends that I still have to this day, and on such a spiritual high that I never wanted to leave.

5 things on To Do List: I need to take my car in to have the emissions tested, scrub my kitchen floor, vacuum upstairs, pack up the downstairs, and tape off the ceiling in the basement so we can start painting.

3 bad habits: I like to stay in bed until my kids get me up, which is usually around 8:00. Yikes! I only "do" my hair if I have to, otherwise it's in a braid or ponytail. I put off the laundry until it's absolutely mandatory.

Places I have lived: Utah, Oregon, Idaho, The Netherlands, Belgium, and California.

Jobs: Sales for "Baby & Me", Resident Assistant at Ricks, Cashier for Home Depot, CNA, Sales - Parts at RF MacDonald, and now a full time mother which is the best by far and hardest by far!

Suddenly a Billionaire: I'd pay everyone's debt off that I know, give tons of it away to people in need, and take my whole family on a great vacation!!!

Things People probably don't know about me: I'm terrified of the ocean, well atleast being out in it, but I love to look at it from the shore; I love to read and sometimes neglect everyone if I've found a good book; I'm very interested in "natural health" and love to learn all I can about it.

My Birthday

It was my birthday over the weekend. Aaron is good about making it special for me. I woke up to notes all over the kitchen with thoughtful things. Later that morning I was watching my niece, Grace and she and Hannah decided to get me something for my birthday and cleaned the toilet TWICE with the toilet brush. Unfortunately, they were confused with what end goes in the toilet. Yuck! Later that night Aaron and I went out, just the two of us. Our plan was to go swimming and then out for a milk shake, but the swimming part didn't happen. The milk shake was yummy, however.

My parents are always thoughtful in their gift giving and this year my dad made me a jean quilt. Yes, I did say dad. He made this for me all by himself and my mom said "he sweat blood and tears" into this. What's also fun about it is most of those jeans are my old jeans. What a great dad I have. I love you so much pops!

Tonight Aaron is taking me to the "Bar J Wranglers". For those of you who don't know who they are, they are a western comedy show out of Jackson Hole Wyoming and are hilarious!!! I've seen their show a few times and absolutely love it! I can't wait to see them tonight at Thanksgiving Point.

So, it was a great birthday. Next year is the big 30, and I've told Aaron I'm going to dye my hair red. :o)

45 Blessings: Week 2/ Children

I think most everyone is grateful for their children and I am no exception. In my profile I think I used the word "obsessed" when talking about my kids. Well, I am and I am so very thankful for them. My mom told me once that I would never be able to understand just how much she and my dad love me until I had a child of my own. How true that is. Life has a whole new meaning with Hannah and Nathan. I'm so grateful for them!

45 Blessings: Week 1/ Aaron

So, this is actually supposed to be 52 blessings, one for each week. A friend of mine was telling me about this and the idea is to list a blessing every week of the year. What a great idea I thought, so since I'm a little behind I'm going to start with 45. Here it goes........

Blessing for week 1 is my adorable husband. I love this man and feel so blessed to be his wife. I never thought I would marry someone so funny, so sensitive, so fun, and thoughtful. I am so grateful for Aaron! I really could go on and on about him, but I'll spare all of you who are throwing up right now. :o)

Valentines Day

Aaron and I went dancing this year for Valentines. We had so much fun. For those of you who don't know Aaron very well, he's quite the dancer. He cracks me up and embarrasses me more than anything. On Valentines day I saw in a book, heart shape hamburgers and fries so I attempted. It was fun to do. Mom Lombardo, the video is for you. We miss you and hope you have a great day!!! xoxo, your kids

Adorable Nathan

I could probably just write nothing. I am the most biased mother, I know, but isn't he adorable? I mean really, could he get any cuter

Hannah, Nathan, & Grandma Eyre

Nathan is almost 8 months old. He is such cutie and sweet boy. We all can't get enough of him.

Weeks ago, Grandma Eyre told Hannah that she would make cookies with her, and Hannah did not forget Grandma's promise. I must of heard her talk about it everyday until she saw Grandma again. Well, Grandma came through on her promise and came to make cookies with Hannah last week. Let's just say both were thrilled to be together for this yummy treat! Hannah loves her grandparents on both sides and loves to spend as much time with them as possible.

Food Is Good!!!

Nathan has discovered food and loves it! He is eating brocolli here and thinks it's great! He, of course, prefers to feed himself and lets me know when he wants more. I just love this stage and wish sometimes that I could freeze time.

Sleepy boy, but not too sleepy to keep eating!
