I am the Gardner Here

I am happy. I'm in a good place in my life. I am touched by goodness daily. My favorite holiday is this Sunday. Do we know what Easter really means for each of us? Do we realize the tremendous gift given to us all through the ressurection of the Lord? Can we possibly understand what it means for us? I know that hard times are ahead. Noone can escape life without them. I want to always remember that He is the Gardner. That He is in control and will make me into what it is I'm meant to be. And I may cry. And I may not understand, but I know that He does.

Bonding

There is nothing that makes me more crabby or more sad when my children are fighting. But then, there is nothing that makes me more happy and grateful to be a mother when they are playing and having fun TOGETHER!

Milk Coma

My Lucky #5

I'm the 7th child. I've always leaned toward even numbers, but I've always thought of 5 as my lucky number. And 3 weeks ago I got the shock of my life....thus far. We are expecting baby #5. Am I ready for another little baby? Well, Joe did sleep all the way through the night for the first time last night, so maybe so. Ready or not, we are excited and we will be ready. I never thought I'd be capable to love so many little people, but somehow I do and I know I'll have room to love this child too. I've always known that being a mother is exactly what I wanted to be more than anything else. I've always known that I wanted many children. Five is many and I'm grateful my body is strong and able to carry them here.

Luck 'O the Irish

A silly holiday if you ask me. The kids have an absolute ball with anything we celebrate though. Darby, our family leprechaun, was particularly naughty this year. Instead of bringing the kids gold and goodies, he wrote on their faces during the night. They were pleased as punch. Go figure!
Making sure we are "pinch proof".
The cutest little Irish boy I know!
We ate green waffles, green jello, and green broccoli. No candy and no one cared. Hooray!
