Summer of Love Work Party

This year Aaron's work summer party was at "This is the Place Heritage Park". I haven't been up there in years. It was so fun! They had train rides, bounce houses, tye dying shirts, bead necklaces to make, yummy food, great music, and fun prizes to win. (no, we didn't win.... bummer)! The kids had an absolute blast and so did we. This work party just happened to land on our 5 year wedding anniversary and it was a lot of fun to celebrate on Ivory's dollar. :o) Good times!

This is a guy that Aaron works with and his family. The neat thing is, this is one of the missionaries that taught Aaron the gospel about 12 years ago when he was living in San Diego. I don't have enough room on this blog to tell how these two found eachother, but it would leave chills if I could. There is just no coincidences when it comes to the gospel. We are both so grateful for Elder Whitehead.

Cherry Hill

Since gas is soooo expensive and money is tight anyway, we decided to have a little family vacation at Cherry Hill, which is only an hour from where we live. It's a camp ground and water park all in one. Thanks to my parents who let us borrow their tent trailer, which made it so nice for us. The kids had a ball, the parents were HOT, HOT, HOT, but we had a good time too. My one regret is that I forgot to take my camera to the water park. The kids had such a blast! We went with some friends of ours and their two little kids as well. Good times!

More pictures of our house

It's coming right along.....

Finally Crawling

We've discovered with this little guy that he takes his own sweet time to do things. He had his first birthday last month and wasn't even crawling yet. About 3 weeks ago he started doing the army crawl and now he's crawling on all fours. Hooray! This is a big day for him!!!!

4th of July

Fun water slide that Hannah wasn't too sure about!

Me and my sisters, minus Liz. We missed you Liz!

My siblings, minus Liz.

Nathan had a blast on this water slide!

We had a wonderful 4th of July at my brothers house. The kids got to cool off in the water, the adults ate very yummy food and enjoyed relaxing together. That evening, we went outside for fireworks. Hannah and Nathan were fascinated with the lights. Happy 4th everyone!

Updated pictures of our House

Bridal Veil Falls

So, after living in Utah, for basically my whole life, we finally hiked up to Bridal Veil Falls. It is such a pretty fall that you can see off the highway. I always thought it looked like a fairly easy hike, and it would have been much easier without kids strapped to your back. I was surprised to see that there was no paved trail to the top and that it was actually quite dangerous at times, but luckily we made it just fine. At the bottom of the fall there was a fun little pool of water to cool off in. We all enjoyed being up in the mountains for the afternoon.

Visit from Grandma Lombardo

Aaron's mom came for a quick visit this week. Hannah was so excited to see her grandma, as we talked about it for days before she came. We were sad that her visit couldn't have been longer, but happy we got to spend the day with her. She always comes bearing gifts for the kids. She had her dogs with her as well and Hannah just loves those dogs. One of the highlights for Hannah was a little inflatable trampoline that grandma brought for her. Nathan thought it was fun too. Thanks so much Mom for all the gifts. Be sure to click on the pictures for a better look.

Garden Party

Every year my parents wear out their bodies to make sure they have the most beautiful garden. I say wear out their bodies because it takes so much out of them to do all that they do, but it pays off because their yard is amazing! This year mom decided to invite all her granddaughters, who could come, to her house for a garden party. It was so much fun! We all enjoyed the yummy food and beautiful surroundings. We hope this becomes a tradition. Thanks Mom!
